Personal Care Support Worker

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.
We are currently recruiting Personal Care Support Workers for Penrith, Cranebrook, Jordan Springs, Werrington, St Marys, Caddens, South Penrith, Jamisontown, Glenmore Park, Emu Plains and surrounding areas.
What's On Offer Permanent Part time contracts available Earn hourly rate of $33 p/h + 11.5% super Travel Allowance of $0.92 per KM PLUS paid travel time Stable roster & opportunity to work extra hours based on business needs Smartphone and Uniform - ready when you join us A fully supported and paid Induction program Traineeship Opportunity - Become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care) all fees paid (for eligible employees) Fitness Passport - a discounted gym membership program (for eligible employees and their families) Your New Role: Personal Care: Experienced staff assist customers with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, help at mealtime & medication prompting. Help at Home: Such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation & assisted dressing. Transport: Transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings. Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training. Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe. Key Requirements: Current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle. Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday. Willing to travel across all suburbs that the branch services. All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses. Align to our values of Warm, Bold & Honest. Must have a minimum 12 months experience in delivering Personal Care and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support. Proficiency in an additional language such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish, Arabic, Lebanese, or Greek is valued but not mandatory.
