We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter (with Australian Mechanical Fitter Trade) to join our Field Service team in Melbourne.
This is not your traditional fitter role with this being field based, with the opportunity to work across multiple customer sites gaining exposure to the latest technology and automation.
Our ideal candidates are problem solvers with excellent fault-finding skills, creating partnerships with customers to provide solutions to their business needs.

Aufgaben und Qualifikationen:
What You Will be Working OnHands on field based role delivering high quality electrical and mechanical supportContract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Melbourne regionParticipation in the on-call roster and flexibility to work overtime including some weekendsFlexible to work day and afternoon shifts as part of the work rosterUsual work pattern is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
What Type Of Person Will Be SuccessfulIf you have the following credentials, you will thrive in this role:Mechanical Fitter Trade (Restricted Electrical Licence also highly regarded)Experience working with automation and material handling equipment (e.g.
conveyors)Adept with computerised maintenance (CMMS) systemsExperience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faultsPLC knowledge in Siemens S7 and Scada WIN CCExperience in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsLicenses and certificates for Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights and First AidCurrent driver's licenseSound computer skills for record keeping, reporting and invoicingFlexibility to work overtime and a rotating roster
