CLINICAL/CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY REGISTRAR/GENERAL PSYCHOLOGIST – INDEPENDENT CONTRACT ROLE About Us Bluff Road Psychology is a private practice that provides exceptional support to the wellbeing of our psychologists.
We have a growing team of psychologists and take pride in providing a positive workplace culture, outstanding administrative support, regular professional development opportunities, and high-quality supervision.
We also ensure our psychologists are awarded generous remuneration in line with the current APS scheduled fees and a low service fee.
We are seeking psychologists under an Independent Contract Agreement with strong evidence-based psychological skills to join our team at a minimum of 2 days per week.
Our clients range from children and adolescents to older adults.
You will be supported by strong leadership in a warm, friendly, and collegial environment doing the work you love.
What we can offer The opportunity to work with client presentations within your areas of interest across any age cohorts that you prefer.Sustainable work/life balance and flexibility to work any hours you wish Mon-Sat.Monthly group supervision and support from a dynamic team of psychologists.Access to supervision (including clinical registrar program).Excellent and competitive independent contractor remuneration (see website for our fees).Practice management software including access to telehealth included.Full administrative support from 8:30 am-5 pm including intake, triage and booking referrals; management of waitlist and confirmation of bookings, and payment collection.Marketing through regular website updates, communication to referrers, & social media.Social events, team collaboration, supportive & friendly environment.Beautifully appointed rooms situated in the stunning new development at Bluff Road Medical, located within walking distance from the beach, Sandringham train station, and the local cafes/shops.About you Demonstrate confidence and autonomy in working with a wide range of presenting issues in children, adolescents through to older adults.Have experience in EMDR and/or Schema Therapy (highly desirable but not essential).Have strong interpersonal, written, and oral skills.Enjoy being an active part of a team with a desire to develop within our practice.Currently have AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, police check, and Professional Indemnity Insurance.Have a Masters or Doctoral degree in psychology.Have eligibility for registration with Medicare.If you are motivated to join a team that fosters care for our clients as well as our psychologists or you'd like to have a chat about the position, please email our Principal Clinical & Health Psychologist, Dr. Aneta Kotevski at or call .
