Dandy Premix Quarries is seeking experienced and reliable Operators to join their team at Yarra Valley.
Located at the base of Mt Toolebewong, Yarra Valley Quarries (YVQ) is a long-established hard rock (Hornfels) quarry producing concrete aggregates to the Dandy Premix concrete plants, as well as a range of VicRoads approved crushed rock products supplied to the Yarra Ranges Shire Council for local road works.
Duties include, but not limited to: Mobile plant operation including Front End Loader, Dump Truck, Excavator and Crushing.Carry out daily quarry operations and regular maintenance of various vehicles, plant and equipment.Complete daily pre-start checks on plant.Participate in daily toolbox talks.Develop a thorough understanding of Dandy Premix Quarries WHS policies and procedures.Follow all instructions from Quarry Supervisor.Required skills and experience: Various plant experience including Front End Loader, Dump Truck, Excavator and Crushing Plant.Driver's license and White Card.Experience working in a quarry environment.Relevant RII tickets (not essential).Use of initiative, proactive and organised approach to work.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including Drug and Alcohol Testing).Why work for us: On offer is a competitive salary package with opportunity for career advancement.We have an exciting Employee Benefits platform offering exclusive discounts on retail and healthcare as well as discounted gym memberships and novated leasing options.Access to Commonwealth Bank Workplace banking benefits.We engage and reward our employees with a monthly values awards program and recognition in our newsletter.At Maas Group our employees are our best asset and we pride ourselves on looking after you.
