We have work already booked for mid-way through 2025 and are expanding into other areas of the Regional Victoria.

Duties
Uses brush, roller, or spray methods in applying paint, enamel, lacquer, varnish, stain, or other finishes to various surfaces such as wood, cement, asphalt, cinderblock, stucco, metal, fiberglass, brick, sheetrock, and glass.Scrapes, power washes, sands, wire brushes, washes, or seals surfaces to prepare for painting or repainting.Fills nail holes, cracks, joints and dents with putty, plaster, or other filler.Paints all interior and exterior walls, trims, gutters/downspouts, fascia boards, ceilings, paneling, furniture, flagpoles, and equipment.Covers furniture and floors; masks adjacent areas.Spray paints acoustic ceilings.Patches and repairs plastic or fabric wall coverings.Prepares and completes line striping of gymnasium floors, playgrounds, and parking lots.Operates stencil cutting machine and stencil paints blacktop, signs, and doors.Removes graffiti by painting, sanding, power washing, or applying chemicals.Cleans brushes, spray guns, other tools, and equipment.Assembles and reassembles spray guns, valves, and nozzles.Mixes and tints primer coat and paint if necessary.Removes/installs door hardware, switches, and outlet wall plates to perform painting/sealing.Initiates, modifies, and closes work orders in automated system.Occasionally tapes and textures sheetwork.Operates aerial lift, powered industrial truck, district vehicle, and a variety of hand and power tools.Erects, rigs, and moves scaffolding.Patches window putty to prepare for painting.Abates lead based paint as needed.May order materials or may tow trailer to move equipment.Performs related work as required.Skills
