Position Summary The Strategic Web Project Manager will work closely with the web development team and report directly to the Unit Head.
This position will initially be offered as a non-ongoing 12–18 month role with the possibility of extension.
This position will play a key role in shaping AIHW's new web strategy.
You will work closely with the Unit Head (Director), the 4 sub-team leads (EL1s), senior executive co-leads (SES) and the ICT team.
Initially, the role will lead a Discovery Phase to gather key insights and ideas.
This will involve a series of meetings and research to understand the needs and expectations of both internal and external audiences.
By the end of this phase, you will have developed a detailed roadmap for the project that everyone involved can refer to throughout the website's design, development, and launch.
Under general direction you will:
Contribute to the delivery of the project, ensuring it aligns with the AIHW strategic goals, and achieves timely and successful completion.Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, understand user needs, and drive the project forward.Be a high-level thinker and a solution-focused person who can deliver outcomes under limited direction.Enjoy being part of a dedicated and creative team involved in a significant modernisation web project, working through issues and possible solutions in a supportive and collaborative environment.Selection Criteria Strong project management, research and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex information and translate it into clear, accessible materials for diverse audiences.Proven ability to build strong relationships and work constructively with senior leaders and key stakeholders to transform requirements into clear, actionable solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.Excellent organisational and time management abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and delivering quality results within deadlines.Strong ability to use sound judgement to strategically coordinate and deliver business intelligence initiatives.Ability to think creatively and collaborate effectively with teams to address and solve complex business challenges.Capability to make informed decisions with limited guidance, based on expertise and a deep understanding of the issues at hand.Eligibility Be an Australian citizenUndergo any required pre-employment checks, including a police records checkObtain and maintain a valid Security Clearance if required by the instituteHow to apply Please submit your application online via the AIHW e-Recruit system.
