Progress with purpose at one of Australia's largest health care providers Get ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environment Work within the unique, widely dispersed Asset Team Permanent full-time opportunity available Flexible location – Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide About the role In collaboration with the National Asset Manager Aged and Home Care, key national managers, and key site management, this role will provide a safe, sustainable and home-like environment for our staff and residents through the timely delivery of approved minor works capital programs and refurbishments, and compliance with required standards and controls for safe operation of homes.
Reporting to the National Asset Manager - Aged and Home Care, this role plays a key part in guiding and influencing the timely delivery of all minor works and refurbishments projects to ensure that Calvary's Aged Care, Retirement Living and Home Care facilities and associated assets are:
meeting the prescribed safety and operating standard(s) to enable the provision of the required level of care to residents and clients. functionally operable to enable Calvary's staff to deliver the required level of care and service to our residents and clients. compliant with local, state, and national legislation. achieving the total lowest life cycle cost through prudent expenditure of capital budgets, strategic decisions regarding capital project delivery, capital refresh, and retirement and replenishment of assets. Main Duties Coordinating internally and contractor-managed projects for Metropolitan and Regional sites across Victoria. Leading targeted National initiatives as identified by the National Asset Manager – Aged and Home Care. Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, key national Calvary stakeholders, and onsite Calvary stakeholders, to ensure the timely delivery of all Minor Works and Refurbishments. Ensuring the delivery of national initiatives, as directed by the National Asset Manager Aged and Home Care. About you You are adaptable, composed, and flexible, able to decide quickly on difficult problems that could have a significant impact on the homes' asset activities. You are a great communicator and work well in a team to create strong connections with internal and external stakeholders.
