The ICT Procurement section within this branch offers essential services, including high-level support and governance to the Chief Information Officer. It ensures that ICT goods and services are procured through open, transparent, and accountable processes, achieving value for money. Additionally, the section facilitates early engagement with business areas, developing trust by understanding their needs and identifying appropriate ICT solutions that align with departmental strategies.Your new roleYour role involves coordinating and executing ICT procurement activities under broad direction. This position requires the adviser to actively cultivate and maintain key stakeholder relationships both within the agency and with external partners. Additionally, the adviser is responsible for preparing various forms of documentation, including correspondence, reports, submissions, and proposal papers, as needed. This multifaceted role is essential for ensuring effective procurement processes and fostering collaboration across different sectors.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a confident, adaptable, and collaborative team player who thrives in a client-focused environment, delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
