Project Manager Data Cataloguing / Data Quality rulesWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Project Manager to oversee the RFx (Request for Proposal/Request for Quotation) process and subsequent implementation of a Data Cataloguing and Data Quality (DQ) Rules platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, data governance frameworks, and the deployment of technical solutions in a complex organizational environment.
Responsibilities: RFx Process Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives for the RFx process.Coordinate the creation, distribution, and evaluation of RFx documents.Ensure adherence to timelines and maintain clear communication between stakeholders and vendors.Facilitate discussions and workshops to evaluate vendor proposals.Provide structured analysis and recommendations for vendor selection based on organizational needs and project goals.Implementation Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for the platform implementation.Work closely with a Solution Architect to ensure alignment with data governance principles and technical requirements.Project Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.Monitor project milestones, track deliverables, and manage changes to the project scope or schedule.Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities.Ensure that all project activities align with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance.Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in project management, preferably within data governance, IT infrastructure, or software implementation projects.Strong understanding of RFx processes, data cataloguing, and DQ rules platforms.Excellent organizational and communication skills with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving project needs.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification (preferred).Working Arrangement: Fully remote position with a commitment of 2–3 days per week, depending on project needs.Flexible scheduling with the ability to attend key meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.Seniority levelMid-Senior level
