Senior Technical Officer ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Technical Officer, you will:
Undertake and manage the day-to-day operations of the sample receipt and preparation team and storage facilities to ensure the delivery of quality analyses in a timely manner through effective and efficient use of resources.
Provide technical expertise with demonstrated proficiency in applying complex thought to conventional analytical preparation techniques on soil, plant, and water samples, including techniques such as:
Kjeldahl digestion
Extractions
Hot nitric acid digestions
These may be undertaken on an individual basis as well as within a team environment, under guidance from the group leaders.
Liaise with laboratory staff, clients, and suppliers to ensure workflow and operational requirements are meeting expectations.
Support and utilise the governance policy and procedure, systems activities, and processes.
