Joinery & Shopfitting Project Manager (2IC)About the roleAs the Joinery & Shopfitting Project Manager at The Everlast Group QLD Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects in the Brisbane region and throughout QLD. This full-time, Site and Office based position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and hands-on project management to ensure the seamless completion of complex joinery and shopfitting projects.What you'll be doingCollaborating closely with the Project Manager to manage all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress.Overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Liaising with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate project status and address any issues or concerns.Identifying and mitigating potential risks, and implementing appropriate contingency plans.Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.Providing hands-on supervision and mentorship to the project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.Preparing detailed progress reports, cost analyses, and other project documentation.What we're looking forMinimum 5 years of proven experience in a project management role within the construction or joinery/shopfitting industry.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations specific to joinery and shopfitting projects.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, designers, and team members.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor a team.What we offerAt The Everlast Group QLD Pty Ltd, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
