Based in the Illawarra region, they welcome candidates from Sydney and offer hybrid work arrangements for those commuting from the city.
Position SummaryThey are seeking a talented and creative Interior Architect with at least 5 years of professional experience in interior design and architecture.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility, technical skills, and a passion for sustainable, functional design solutions.
This role provides the opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting projects within a collaborative and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities Design Development: Lead the development of creative, functional, and sustainable design concepts tailored to meet client needs.
Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and contractors to maintain the design vision through all phases of the project.
Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation in Revit, following established standards.
Client Engagement: Actively participate in client meetings, present design concepts, and adjust plans based on feedback and project goals.
Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, design adherence, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Skills Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in interior architecture, ideally focused on high-end commercial or corporate interiors.
Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and sustainable design principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
