Our client is a successful, established and market leading privately owned and operated luxury property & construction group.
They deliver high-quality projects for their valued clients in both residential and commercial developments.
They are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership in the role and grow with the business, partnering and reporting directly with the General Manager and the board.This role will have you: Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to develop annual budgets and forecasts, manage cash flows, monitoring project expenditures, recognizing revenue, and conducting profitability analysis for both ongoing and future projects.Providing oversight and guidance for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions, ensuring timely fulfilment of all financial obligations and reconciliation requirements.Analysing financial data related to projects, providing insight to support profitability, budget allocations and margin/overhead projections.Coordinating year-end financial activities with external accountants, including tax planning, reconciliation review, and timely preparation and lodgement of financial statements and tax returns.Handling monthly and quarterly BAS obligations, including TPAR Reporting, for all entities.To be successful in your application we are looking for:Tertiary qualified – bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.Proficiency in financial software, account systems and Microsoft Office.CPA or CA qualification.Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex financial data analysis, while actively participating in a close-knit team.This highly sought-after, hands-on and dynamic role offers the challenge and reward that comes with joining a long-established, successful, and rapidly growing Construction organisation.
