The Opportunity
To be a strategic leader in the business by taking the strategic lead on several accounts in the agency.
Responsible for developing brilliant customer-centric solutions for your accounts and on new business.
Building strong relationships with your clients to help them define and overcome business problems and harness the opportunities presented.
The role straddles the day-to-day strategy on your accounts and drives their longer-term vision, as well as working closely with other team members to unlock new opportunities for the group.
A Snapshot Of What You'll Do
Raise and maintain an exceptional standard for strategic thinking and creative solutions for your accounts; being a go-to leader for team members for your accounts.
Develop strong partnerships with your clients, senior and day-to-day, by becoming an indispensable partner in helping them overcome challenges and identify opportunities.
Take ownership for improving the integration and quality of thinking in your area of specialism across the team and agency.
Embed new methods and tools onto your accounts, including finding opportunities to bring in our newer strategic capabilities to unlock greater customer value.
Mentor and develop the strategic skills of the strategists supporting you on your accounts and the team more broadly.
Share your strategic skills, insights, and thought-leadership with the wider agency, as part of internal learning and development and in an informal nature on your accounts.
Lead the strategic thinking for pitches/new business opportunities where required.
Partner with the Head of Strategy to drive an integrated and collaborative culture with the Creative and Account Services teams.
Foster collaborative relationships with other departments within the agency and across the broader M&C Saatchi Group.
Your Ideal Experience
At least 7 years' experience in brand, insight, or communications planning strategy experience.
Proven success in growing business - be it organic growth of existing clients, as well as identifying and converting new client opportunities.
A strategic thinker with the ability to see the bigger picture and bring the required pieces of the puzzle together.
Strong presentation skills, able to articulate your strategy and the impact it will have on a broader scale.
Analytical mindset and the ability to analyse information to inform your decision-making.
