About the RoleOur client, a major referral hospital located in regional New South Wales, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Specialist Geriatrician to join their team.

Daily flights and trains to all major cities within Australia.Position Overview :As a Staff Specialist Geriatrician, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, patient-centered care to elderly patients, focusing on complex health conditions and multi-disciplinary care.
The role offers the opportunity to shape geriatric services within a leading regional hospital, enhance patient outcomes, and provide training and guidance to junior medical staff.Key Responsibilities :Perform comprehensive geriatric assessments and manage acute, subacute, and rehabilitation casesWork collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settingsDrive continuous improvement and service development within geriatric medicineProvide mentorship, education, and support to junior medical staff and allied health teamsParticipate in on-call rosters and contribute to a positive team cultureFellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or an Advanced Trainee in the final 6 months of training approaching fellowship and/or proof of recognition as a specialist by the Specialists Recognition Advisory CommitteeEligibility for registration with the Medical Board of AustraliaProven experience in geriatric medicine with demonstrated clinical expertiseStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPassion for healthcare excellence and a commitment to advancing geriatric care in a regional settingWhat's on Offer :Attractive salary package with additional regional allowancesRelocation support and professional development incentivesAccess to cutting-edge facilities within a collaborative and supportive work environmentThe chance to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellbeing of the communityIdeal work-life balance with flexible arrangements and minimal commutingIf you are ready for a rewarding role with genuine opportunities for career growth and impact, we encourage you to apply.
