We are looking for an experienced and talented seamstress or tailor to join our Laundry team.
About the role Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper you will be responsible for ongoing repair to uniforms, linen and soft furnishings.
You will assist in projects related to the enhancement of the hotel
About you Previous experience as a seamstress/ tailorKnowledge of materials and sewing techniquesExperienced in over locking, industrial sewing, cutting materials and straight sewingAbility to operate sewing machines to stitch and assemble different itemsMaintain a clean and orderly workplacePrevious experience working in a commercial laundry environment will be highly regardedDisplays safe work practices with regards to chemical handling & manual handlingIf you are enthusiastic about delivering an experience that consistently surprises and delights our guests, please apply now.
