Project Manager

Our client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Manager to support them within the facilities team.
This position would support the Project Director in the delivery of both major and minor projects.
Proven experience in procurement of building services will be highly regarded.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Liaise with builders / contractors on construction timelines, costs & quality.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into construction terms.
Proactively take walk throughs during construction and correctly report any defects.
Manage the administration of specific project financial budgets and ensure accordance with financial obligations.
Ensure all contractors and consultants adhere to OH&S, regulatory and Legislative requirements when engaged on site.
Regularly monitor and audit the provision of contracted services to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with contract specifications Ensure all associated records and registers are accurately maintained Key Skills and Experience Required: Demonstrated experience in project management in the construction of educational, government and/or commercial facilities Procurement experience within a project construction environment Well-developed interpersonal communication skills, which include the ability to deal with situations firmly, courteously, tactfully and confidentially Ability to operate independently and with little direction whilst exercising sound judgement at all times Benefits: Competitive rate on offer Flexible working environment based in Hawthorn For a confidential discussion, please contact Milly Kerei-Keepa on ****** or hit Apply Now
