About the Role The first Sales Estimator Hire of a growing commercial construction company, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Estimator to step into a key role within their team.
You'll be instrumental in shaping the success of diverse projects by providing accurate and competitive estimates, engaging with stakeholders, and refining processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough analysis of project plans, specifications, and subcontractor quotes to define scope and requirementsPrepare detailed take-offs, tender estimates, and competitive bids in line with budget and timelinesDrive process improvements to enhance estimating precision and efficiencyCollaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients for smooth project executionRepresent the company at pre- and post-tender meetings, addressing client queries confidentlyEnsure all work adheres to Australian Building Standards and industry best practicesAbout You Demonstrated experience in commercial construction estimating, particularly within industrial and retail sectorsStrong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and labour costsProficiency in industry-standard estimating softwareExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilitiesOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalA collaborative spirit with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamRelevant qualifications in construction or engineering (highly desirable)Why Join them?
