Contribute to mechanical and system design architectures for Radiology medical device product families.Maintain existing mechanical designs for current products within the portfolio in line with the Life Cycle Engineering program.
Liaise with Radiology mechanical and systems engineering teams in Pittsburgh and local sites.Do something that moves you.Design and implement mechanical design of components and assemblies to support Radiology business product developmentDesign and maintain mechanical assemblies and components in line with the Life Cycle Engineering program for existing productsKeep up to date with the latest manufacturing and software technologies for both prototyping and productionBuild, test and verify new mechanical componentsPlan and document all activities as per company policiesParticipate in the implementation, verification and maintenance of the risk management files for Radiology productsContribute to mechanical system and platform architectures for Radiology injector systemsEnsure to conform to TGA, CE Mark, and EN ISO 13485 : 2016 guidelines associated with product developmentContribute to new product development deliverablesContribute to mechanical architecture and platform design for Radiology global productsTake the lead at Rydalmere site to promote standardized mechanical system and 3D design and documentation practice among both R&D and PS engineersWork with Radiology R&D teams in US to ensure that mechanical development outputs conform to Bayer and regulatory requirementsEnsure the timely completion of new development projectsMaintain existing product mechanical components in conjunction with Product SupplyDoes this sound like you?You are already working as a mid or senior mechanical engineer role in a regulated environmentDirect experience in mechanical component and assembly designMechanical CAD skills in a common package such as SolidWorks or ProEComfortable developing mechanical component and assembly designs for use in a medical device with a medium risk profileBachelor of Mechatronics and Robotics or Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical or equivalentBe You @ BayerWe are committed to creating a culture where people can be their best, in an environment that values inclusion, diversity and flexibility.
