Early Childhood Language Teacher

Part-time (16 hours per fortnight), maximum-term contract to 30 June 2027Mandarin-speaking Teacher required for our Glen Iris kindergartenTuesdays 9am-2pm, Thursdays 10:30am-1:30 pmYour new roleWe are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Teacher who will be responsible for the delivery of the language program and who will work closely with existing staff to support aspects of the education program in the designated language.
Working on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the contracted hours will be 16 hours per fortnight.
The teacher will also receive dedicated time for planning to support program delivery.
About the programUniting Early Learning delivers the Early Childhood Language Program, an initiative from the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
As part of this, children across Victoria will be given the opportunity to learn in a different language for part of their kindergarten program.

Post-secondary qualifications in a language other than English OR Formal Language Qualification OR Statement of Equivalence in speaking in a language other than English.A current VIT registration issued by the Victorian Institute of Teaching on commencement of employment.Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and EpiPen training.How to applyClick APPLY to submit your interest.
