Our Power and Industrial division offers products and engineered solutions including Gas Turbine inlet filtration, Offshore gas turbine inlet filtration, reverse pulse dust collectors, wet scrubbers, industrial ventilation, and air pollution control.In recent years, AAF International have expanded their business in the Oceania region.Operating in 24 countries with more than 2,800 employees worldwide, our products are the industry benchmarks for quality and performance.AAF has an exciting opportunity for an engineer in the dust collector department (IndustAQ) position to join our team based in Keysborough, Melbourne.This "hands-on" role reports to the AAF Power and Industrial manager and is responsible for ensuring delivery of projects, on budget and on time.The successful candidate will have an engineering background in dust control. You will be highly organized, have well-developed customer service skills, and be looking for a long-term career in a company that prides itself on rewarding and developing its employees.Key responsibilities include:Working with customers as the AAF point of contact for current dust collector projectsInterpreting engineering drawings and standardsQuality ControlWorking closely with AAF Spain IndustAQ department (Spanish language desirable)Logistics and project schedulingLiaising with suppliers, sourcing quotes, managing orders, and scheduling from local and international suppliers including AAF Spain, AAF Malaysia, AAF USA, and AAF UKProject management to ensure all projects run smoothly and on timeAssisting with estimating and cost controlAutoCAD drawing background preferredSAP knowledge, project ordering, and some invoicingAttending AAF International webinars and training sessions to expand and develop application and industry knowledgeCommissioning of projects on mine sites following a high level of safetyTo be successful in this role you will have proven experience in the following areas:5 years Engineering project experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of studyDust collector background and willingness to help in a varied role of project managementAutoCAD and design skillsSAP orderingBe highly organizedA sense of business acumenHighly motivated, keen to learn with strong customer-oriented ethic and exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level understanding of or previous experience with the following products: Fans, HVAC, Dust collectors, filters, or compressorsBOSIET highly preferred or interested in attending training to do offshore commissioning in the oil and gas industryEngineering background or previous experience as a technician and technically mindedProject management experience or customer service experience, preferably in the air filtration/industrial ventilation industryAn understanding of or previous experience with the following products: Fans, HVAC, Dust collectors, filters, or compressorsIf you are an outgoing individual with strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication, AAF can offer you the platform to develop your career within a structured, professional, results-driven, and hard-working team environment.It is anticipated this role will be office-oriented with flexible hours at home and some out of hours for international meetings.
