Citywide is recruiting for a Water Features Technician to work within our prestigious open space contract in Melbourne's CBD.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining water assets in some of the City's most iconic parks and gardens.
Monday to Friday 7am to 3.06pmCompetitive hourly rate and use of vehicleResponsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Maintain all water assets.Service fountains and ponds on a daily basis to ensure that they are free of litter, leaves and debris.Regularly test and chemical dose water.Undertake major cleans and repairs of water features.Servicing and maintaining assets such as UV lamps, aerators, filters and pumps.Assist in all areas of the Water Team including plumbing, irrigation and storm water as required.Keep records and report all issues, defects and repairs.Assist the Water Manager to quote new or reinstated works as required.Liaise with sub-contractors and supervise works.Be available for on-call roster from time to time.Skills and experience required: Certificated Plumber AQF Level 4Experience in maintaining, installing and repairing fountains, ponds and water featuresCurrent Victorian Drivers LicenceFirst Aid CertificateGood verbal and written communication skillsAble to follow written and verbal instructionsWell-developed interpersonal skillsHighly motivated, team orientated and able to work autonomouslyWorking With Children CheckIn return we offer: The job security that comes with our list of long-term contractsThe chance to make an impact in a rapidly expanding companyThe opportunity to further develop your skills in a strong, supportive environmentA workplace that focuses on safety firstA company with a culture of teamwork and respectAbout Citywide At Citywide, we are a proud company with a clear purpose and mission – we shape liveable cities by delivering the full scope of civil infrastructure, open space and environmental services to government and private enterprise.

A full drivers licence and good driving record is essential.
