Reporting to the Manager Financial Reporting & Compliance, you will contribute to the sustainable operations of the company through the provision of a comprehensive accounting function that meets internal compliance and legislative requirements.

This role is offered on a 12 month fixed term, full time contract, working a standard Monday – Friday roster or on a 9 day fortnight (full time equivalent hours) at our Perth corporate office.
Benefits include: Quarterly Bonus SchemeFlexible work arrangements on offerIncreased annual leave entitlementsEmployee Assistance ProgramLong service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous serviceEducational assistanceAbout the role: Perform monthly Balance Sheets Reconciliations, inclusive of Payroll Accounts Reconciliations for all sites;Preparation of monthly management accounts for Australian corporate entities;Produce and email monthly Intercompany Invoices, and maintain pricing reconciliation of margin of charges;Management and reconciliation of employee salary sacrifice benefits;Management and reconciliation of Accounts Receivable;Contribute to the preparation of statutory financial statements;Contribute to the business' compliance requirements by ensuring systems, processes, advice and outputs meet Sarbanes Oxley standards.About you: Tertiary Qualifications - Degree in Accounting, or studying towards a Degree in Accounting3-5 Years experience in a financial role within a mining environmentCompetent user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelGold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
