They will be responsible for working closely with departments to ensure all of their daily orders are picked and delivered and up to par. They will also assist in receiving products, unloading of delivery trucks and storing the products in the fridges and freezers in our storeroom. What you will be doing: Ensuring all food & beverage products received are properly stored in the fridges & freezers, while maintaining proper first in, first out rotation.Assisting all departments in the picking and delivering of orders while accounting for all goods from food stores and receiving areas.Unload merchandise from delivery trucks as needed.Maintaining proper inventory counts and daily/weekly on hand spot checks to verify inventory counts in our inventory software.Participation in monthly inventory counts.Familiarity of merchandise used within the hotelDaily cleaning of storage areas.Maintain personal physical health & safety awareness in moving and lifting stockEnsure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiativesCarry out any other tasks as assignedQualifications Your experience and skillset includes: Previous warehouse experience an asset.Must be physically capable of meeting demands of the position: standing, walking, bending, lifting 80lbs and pushing carts ranging from 500lbs – 1,000lbs.Comfortable using computer and various softwares.Knowledge of hotel and department operations an asset.Self-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions.Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure.Additional Information Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
