As a Business Manager, you are personally accountable for the success of Tech Data's business performance for the particular cybersecurity vendor allocated to this position.
You'll be well supported in your role with a dedicated team and organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Understand the strategy, plans and priorities of the vendor(s) and turn that into our Tech Data business plan and profit maximisation strategy.Give clear direction to the sales, marketing and pre-sales teams about what to do and how to succeed with the vendor(s).Use all data sources to manage performance to Key Performance Indicators.Follow the "what?
so what?
now what?" mantra and run forward looking QBRs and all vendor operational interlocks.Actively seek out ways to boost sales and grow share of wallet.Build strong personal relationships across the Vendor(s) and with key partners.While responsible for revenue outcomes, manage a group of technologies and maintain the overarching relationship with the vendor. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's Degree qualification preferred.Minimum High School certificate.Diploma in IT or related field highly regarded.Minimum 6 years' experience within IT distribution as an outbound account manager or BDM with a customer service orientation.Appropriate vendor product sales certifications.Good understanding of the channel business and existing reseller partner relationships in Australia or New Zealand.Solid understanding of cybersecurity technology highly regarded.Good presentation and negotiation skills.Ability to work autonomously, devise process and manage time and prioritisation.Superior communications skills and ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external customers/vendors.
