Home Care Workers - Expression of InterestExperience everything the Gold Coast has to offer while working as a Home Care Worker, providing assistance to older people and their carers either in home or within the community setting throughout the Gold Coast region.
Gold Coast Health are seeking motivated Home Care Workers to join our Home Care and Allied Health Service, delivering a range of services to clients using a wellness and reablement approach.
The Home Care and Allied Health Service is funded by the Commonwealth Home Support Program to provide a range of flexible, entry level basic support services that assist clients to maintain independence in their own homes. Home Care is predominantly funded for domestic assistance. In this role you will assist clients to maintain the cleanliness of their homes and connection to community.
Submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) for future Home Care Worker positions within Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. If deemed suitable, your details will remain in the Home Care Worker Talent Pool and you may be contacted at the time an opportunity arises.
About you Aged care checkDriver licence and the use of a reliable class C vehicleEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough) and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedWhile not mandatory, a relevant certificate III qualification to provide personal care would be well regardedPlease note: Submission of this EOI is not a guarantee that you will be offered employment with Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.By submitting an EOI, you will not automatically be considered for advertised vacancies.
