About the Role: The role will report to the Corporate Manager for banking and be a member of the Corporate Banking team.
This position will be responsible for managing the day to day reconciliation and processing of accounting entries for bank accounts spanning across Woodside's international footprint.
This role works in conjunction with other finance teams and the business.
The Banking Analyst will be located in Perth, Australia.
This is a fixed term opportunity for one year with the possibility of extension.
Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support to the Banking team, in delivery of the following key processes, on an as required basis:
Reconciliation of bank accounts on a daily basis Processing of bank transactions Preparation of general journals and period-close activities SOX control compliance and testing Review and manage bank refunds and returns Assist the Business, Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams with payment queries Investigate transactions and liaise with the banks Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations including preparing balance sheet commentary Other ad-hoc tasks as required Skills & Experience: What we expect from you:
2 to 3 years experience in a similar role Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field Working towards CA / CPA qualification (desired) Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and BlackLine (desired) Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and with various stakeholders Problem solving and improvement mindset, able to investigate issues and find effective solutions Recognition & Reward: What you can expect from us:
