Positions Details: Commencement Date: January 2025Position Type: Full time ongoingPosition 1: Teacher of Mathematical Methods Units 3-4 Teach Mathematics including units 3 & 4 Mathematical Methods.Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.Prepare students for assessments and ensure they meet academic benchmarks.Position 2: Teacher of Physics Key Responsibilities: Teach Physics to students across level 10 to 12.Teach General Science and/or Mathematics across level 7 to 10.Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum.Prepare students for assessments and ensure they meet academic benchmarks.Foster critical thinking and a love for science in the classroom.Position 3: Teacher of Food Technology Key Responsibilities: Teach Food Technology to students across level 7 to 12.Plan practical lessons focused on culinary skills, nutrition, and food safety.Ensure a safe, hygienic, and supportive learning environment.Monitor student progress and manage practical assessments.General Requirements: Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.A strong commitment to Catholic education.An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.An ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters for the needs of all students.An eagerness to learn.An enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support student learning.Special Requirements: Kolbe Catholic College promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.Application Deadline: Applications close Friday 25th October 2024, at 5 PM.Shortlisted candidates may be interviewed before the closing date.Kolbe Catholic College is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care, including maintaining compliance with the Child Safety Code of Conduct.
