Established in 2018, we are a growing business that delivers customer-focused HR solutions to clients across a wide range of industries.We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with strong Employee Relations (ER) experience to lead our HR Generalist team whilst supporting our clients across multiple projects as well as ongoing retained work.This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to make a direct impact on clients' workforces, manage a small team, and contribute to the continued success and growth of VeiraMal Consulting.Key responsibilities include:Provide day-to-day coaching and advisory support to management and clients on workforce matters, including performance management, employment conditions, disciplinary processes, and termination procedures.Conduct thorough and objective investigations, managing grievances in line with company policies and standards, and developing corrective actions as needed.Lead and develop a team of HR Consultants, overseeing workload allocation and performance.Maintain ongoing client engagement, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and delivery of services.Advise on and apply terms of employment in compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, and employment legislation.Support enterprise agreement bargaining, advocacy, and negotiations with unions and other external bodies.Manage the resolution of workplace issues through the undertaking of investigations, provision of accurate advice, management of risk to the business, and appropriate consultation with respect to progress and outcomes.Skills required:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience providing strategic guidance on employee relations, grievance handling, and investigations.Strong internal consulting and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.5+ years of advisory experience in Employee Relations.Extensive knowledge and practical application of Australian employment law and Modern Awards.Strong foundation in a broad range of contemporary HR principles & practices.Proven experience with developing and coaching team members would be advantageous.Demonstrated sound decision-making capability weighing up multiple competing internal and external factors to ensure organisation risk is minimized and regulatory compliance achieved.Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a business-related discipline.What's in it for you:Competitive remuneration, including commission for both individual and team performance.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Employee assistance program for personal and professional support.Social events and team-building activities to foster a positive workplace culture.VeiraMal Consulting is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive workforce that values all backgrounds and experiences.
