Chief Information Security Officer

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our IT security operations management team.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategy and business plans for our security operations and standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in information security, with at least 10 years of experience in a leadership role.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily business activities, including working closely with colleagues to improve overall business functions.
The role requires a high level of expertise in operational security policies and standards, as well as industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with our CISO to drive security awareness and education campaigns, and ensure that our security operations team is equipped to respond to threats and maintain the security and compliance of our customers' IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategy and business plans for security operations and standardsOversee daily business activities, including working closely with colleagues to improve overall business functionsEnsure that operational security policies and standards are implemented across our Managed Operations teams and aligned to industry best practice and regulatory requirementsWork closely with our CISO to drive security awareness and education campaignsEnsure that our security operations team is equipped to respond to threats and maintain the security and compliance of our customers' IT infrastructureRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent work experienceAt least 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleExpert knowledge of operational security policies and standards, and industry best practices and regulatory requirementsStrong skills in security risk management, governance and compliance, and security auditingExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve outcomesWhy join us at Datacom?
