You're a people person with solid experience in leading a team and project delivery, especially in the web dev arena.
What you'll do1.
Leadership & Team Management:You'll work closely with our group of Web Developers, Project Managers, Freelance Vendors, and Business Analysts to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages team members to achieve their best. Support the Head of Department in conducting regular performance reviews, providing feedback, and developing training plans to enhance team capabilities. Align team goals with company objectives. 2.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as necessary. 3.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving project delivery processes, tools, and methodologies. Implement best practices in project management and web development to enhance efficiency and quality. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve client satisfaction. 4.
Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates to the Head of Project Delivery & Development and other stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and post-project reviews. 5.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks associated with project delivery, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.6.
Client Relationship Management: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction with the delivered projects.7.
Resource Allocation: Allocate resources across projects, ensuring optimal use of talent and tools within the team.The bare minimum that we expect you to bring to the role. Education: Bachelor's (or above) degree in Commerce, Information Technology, Project Management, a related field, or relevant industry certification(s). Experience: Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously with a track record of successful delivery.
At least 2 years in a management role within a services-based business. Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills.
