With operations across the APAC region this represents an opportunity to join the team as they continue to uplift their technical capability.
The Role This role will be responsible for managing and optimising a large suite of SQL databases across the business.
It will be consolidating and optimising the SQL landscape and transitioning to a managed service.
This role will also manage the relationship with the Managed Service provider, collaborate with Application Delivery teams, and ensure the successful delivery of Projects.
What You Bring To The Role The right person for the role will utilise their expertise to be not only a hands on senior but to l ead the team of DBAs and the transition as they adapt to the business needs with a complex array of SQL Platforms, and a fast-paced company that continually grows organically and by acquisition.
The role will be across the following and experience in these areas include: Extensive experience in Database Administration on different versions of MS SQL and Oracle databases.
Extensive experience in migration of applications.
Experience with Database replication Master/Slave Proficient in SQL Language Experience working on both on prem and cloud solutions.
Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, and MySQL Strong understanding of SQL database architecture.
Strong understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure, and the management of data costs What's In It For You?
