What does the job look like? Our Fleet & Procurement business is seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Officer to join their team based at our Global Head Office in Essendon Fields.
Reporting to the Insurance Claims Manager, you will play an instrumental role in managing end to end processes of insurance claims.
This includes, from the initial claim lodgement, through to settlement, and sourcing claim recovery where applicable while providing claim advice to business partners.
Our primary areas of claims are approximately 90% motor claims and the remaining 10% either Marine (customer goods), Public Liability, or Property Damage.
This role will see you liaising with several key internal stakeholders including Linfox Workshops, Site/Branch Managers, Operations Staff, as well as external insurance companies, insurance brokers, repairers, and third parties.
Key areas include:
Accurate, timely, and pro-active actioning, upload, and management of claims, insurance-related tasks, and other duties as requiredManagement of end-to-end claims within the portfolio to efficient and successful completionCommunicate and co-ordinate effectively between stakeholders, business partners, and third partiesProvide insurance and claim advice and support to stakeholders and business partnersAre you the one? You have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and have a high attention to detail.
You have exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate successful outcomes to achieve positive results.
You can demonstrate:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Motor Vehicle Claims, Claim Recoveries, or the Insurance IndustryModerate to advanced skills with the full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP would be highly regardedStrong customer service focus with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersSound written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both internal and external stakeholdersResults-oriented, and able to work under pressureAt Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
