Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)Warakirri Asset Management Pty Ltd is a leading Australian funds manager offering specialist investment vehicles and services to retail and wholesale investors with a focus on ethical investment, actively managed equities, and agriculture. We are a private company, 100% owned by our directors and employees, with a Board of Directors that has majority independent director representation.Our Agriculture operating entities invest in sophisticated technology to support the efficient operation of our assets, providing automation and data that support and drive operational and expansion decisions. We employ a comprehensive AgTech ecosystem to optimise our operations alongside our office Tech Toolkit. Our toolset includes Agworld for crop management, PCT agcloud for precision agriculture, and John Deere Operation Centre for crop monitoring. For pasture management, we rely on Agrinet, while Delpro is our solution for herd data, and DairyPro enhances animal health within our dairy operations. We are preparing our IT foundations to move into the world of IoT and AI with a particular focus on our Agri platforms.Job DescriptionAbout your new jobThis is a newly created IT Business Analyst position reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. We are open to someone on a Full-Time or 4 days a week arrangement. We offer a hybrid working environment with 2 days in the office and the remainder from home. The IT Business Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining user requirements for various systems. They actively identify opportunities and issues where IT solutions can enhance business operations or specific team functions.Key responsibilities:Conduct user requirements analysis through workshops, data/process analysis, and systems evaluation for diverse IT projects.Document requirements and data/process models for utilization by subject matter experts, architects, developers, engineers, and external service providers.Coordinate user acceptance testing, including test script creation and test result analysis, as part of effective change management.Play a crucial role in system rollouts by aiding in the formulation of training plans and contributing to the development of training materials.QualificationsAbout youA solid understanding of Information Systems principles, best practices, and emerging trends, ideally with a bachelor's degree in this or a related field.Extensive knowledge of Business Analysis; a certificate in this field is desirable.Data, process, and system modelling skills.Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.Knowledge of project methodologies, particularly Agile.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and colleagues.Experience in an ERP implementation would be highly beneficial.Experience in the agriculture and/or finance space is desirable.Additional InformationWhat makes Warakirri unique?Part of a growing organisation that works across multiple business platforms.We have a workplace that values inclusion and where everyone is welcome and respected, resulting in a caring and supportive team environment.Work-life balance is important to us, with several options, including flexible and remote working arrangements.Several social events throughout the year, not just for you, but also for your partner and family.We will invest in your future with ongoing Learning and Development opportunities.Our Employee Assistance Program includes free confidential counselling sessions for employees and their immediate family members for personal or work-related issues.We care about your health and wellbeing and have designed a wellbeing calendar with a purpose.You can apply by selecting "I'm interested".Closing Date: Open until filled, so you are encouraged to apply now.
