The Business Development Executive identifies and pursues new growth opportunities, builds client relationships, and drives revenue by positioning the company as a preferred partner.
They focus on strategic outreach and long-term client engagement to achieve sales goals and expand market presence.
Job Description A Career that lets your passion shine : Actively target and secure new business opportunities across all market segmentsBuild and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to position Sofitel as the preferred venueConsistently achieve or exceed set KPIs and sales targetsProactively generate and qualify leads for conversionMaximize revenue by showcasing exceptional selling abilities and understanding client needsWork collaboratively with other departments to ensure the Hotel's goals are metRepresent Sofitel Gold Coast at key industry events and networking to enhance brand visibility and drive businessQualifications What you will bring to the role : A luxury attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a high EQ are essential to succeed in this competitive industryYou are a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in outbound sales and business developmentDeep understanding of market segments relevant to luxury hotels, including corporate, events, meetings, and group salesStrong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with excellent relationship managementExperience with outbound sales, including face-to-face meetings, networking, and trade eventsWillingness to work varying hours and travel within the region for client meetings, field sales calls and eventsKnowledge and ability to operate Opera Cloud Software and various CRM systemsAdditional Information Thrive in our Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach community : Complimentary meal on shift available via Le CaféEmployee discounts on accommodation, dining, and lifestyle with Accor hotelsDiscounted on-site parkingPaid birthday leavePersonalized reward & recognition and learning & development programsCareer development pathways locally and globally with Accor and SofitelBelong in a place where you can be yourself and love what you do.
