Skin Transformations is seeking an experienced and professional Beauty Therapist to join our team on a contract basis in our Mackay, Queensland location. As a Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality skin and beauty treatments to our valued clients, helping them achieve their aesthetic and wellness goals.What you'll be doingConducting thorough client consultations to understand their individual needs and concernsPerforming a range of treatments such as facials, skin peels, Cool Jet (cold plasma treatments), body treatments, waxing, tinting, manicures, pedicures and makeup applications.Recommending and selling appropriate skin care and makeup products to enhance client resultsMaintaining detailed records of client services and product recommendationsEnsuring the treatment rooms and work area are clean, organised, and well-stockedProviding exceptional customer service and a relaxing, enjoyable experience for all clientsWhat we're looking forDiploma qualification in Beauty TherapyMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar beauty therapist roleStrong knowledge of skin types, conditions, and appropriate treatment methodsExcellent customer service and communication skillsTrustworthyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPassionate about the beauty and wellness industry and committed to ongoing learningRegular shifts available are Thursdays 2pm-8pm, Fridays & Saturdays (optional)Extra shifts available when Allison is away attending training, Uni placement and long service leave in Dec (total time of 12 weeks next year I'll be away from the salon).What we offerCompetitive contract remuneration (40% services + 10% product + Super)Opportunities for professional development and career advancement (Plasma Fibroblast Treatments)A vibrant, supportive, and inclusive work environment (expanding to a commercial property in the near future)Access to the latest beauty treatments, products, and equipmentAbout usSkin Transformations is a leading provider of premium skin and beauty services in the Mackay region. Established in 2012 (was previously Alli's Beauty), it has a strong and loyal customer base. Allison Bekker, with 19 years' experience, recently won the best Solopreneur from the Australian Beauty and Cosmetic Tattoo Awards 2024 and prides herself on exceptional customer service and results.
