Amazon Web Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our Public Sector team in Sydney. The territory covers a portfolio of Local Government, Non for profit and Healthcare. You will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key decision makers, working with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, adaptable, articulate, passionate about creating great customer outcomes, and have an entrepreneurial spirit.

Key job responsibilities

Work to increasing adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territoryHelp create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new businessArticulate a compelling value propositions to customersWork with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunitiesAssist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud servicesDevelop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts About the teamWe are a collaborative team that treats stakeholders and teammates like customers, and aim to ensure everything we deliver provides the highest value for our customers. We are responsible for building training, authoring best practice enablement content, and disseminating best practices at scale, that directly impact our customers' success as they operate their workloads on AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• 3yrs+ account management and/or business development experience in the IT industry
• Experience in enterprise technology and business solutions sales
• Sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Experience selling cloud and or SaaS solutions into government
• Experience working with consulting partners and system integrators
