The Opportunity - Mining Manager
Join a well-established Australian mining company that owns and operates significant mining projects across South Australia. As part of their project development strategy, there is an opportunity for an experienced Mining Manager to lead operations at one of their South Australian sites.
As part of this role, you can take the chance to relocate to Adelaide and FIFO on an 8/6 roster to site which will give you plenty of opportunity to make the most of one of Australia's most liveable cities.
Responsibilities:

Driving productivity and optimising mining operations to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
Providing leadership and guidance to the contractor, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and high performance in line with the company's values and strategic goals.
Promoting a strong internal safety culture while serving as a liaison for information exchange with the local community.
Controlling costs by managing budgets, reducing waste, and optimising the use of resources on site.
Strategically planning and monitoring the mine plans to ensure viability of the site and efficient use of resources required.

Is This Role for You?
To succeed as a Mining Manager, you will need to demonstrate:

That you are able to obtain the relevant Statutory and Site Access permits.
Extensive experience managing mining operations, with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve or exceed objectives.
Strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in operational practices.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders.
A solid understanding of contractual and commercial aspects of mining operations.
A clear and collaborative leadership style, combined with excellent management capabilities.
