About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and high-performing Paralegal to join the General Insurance (Recoveries) team based in the Sydney office working a minimum of four (4) days per week.
The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive paralegal and administrative support to the wider team of lawyers within the General Insurance (Recoveries) team.
This is a pivotal legal support role with a varied workload, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collating briefs to Counsel Preparation and drafting of court documents Legal Research Preparation and review of subpoenas Reviewing files About You
Ideally, you will have:
A genuine interest in working in insurance law or litigation Prior experience in debt recovery is favorable Ability to work fast and meticulously with high attention to detail Excellent communication (verbal & written) and organisational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy A great work ethic and be keen to learn and develop your career A hard-working and dedicated approach to your practice Education
