Job Description:
A busy and diverse role exists to join the Peninsula Hot Springs as a full-time Maintenance Trades Assistant.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role will assist the maintenance team with maintaining the buildings, plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings at the Hot Springs to ensure a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all guests and staff.
Main responsibilities include:
Support Maintenance Technicians in the servicing and maintenance of all plant and equipment throughout the facility, ensuring systems are operating efficiently and safely.
Perform general maintenance tasks.
Follow work instructions and SOPs.
Ensure MEX work orders are carried out and closed out as per schedule.
Ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Ensure all maintenance workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state.
Ensure all equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
Essential skills and attributes:
Previous experience in a maintenance trade assistant position.
Trade qualifications are highly regarded.
Good skills and knowledge using tools.
Demonstrated understanding of safe work practices.
Ability to communicate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff, technical specialists, and guests.
Demonstrated ability to be collaborative and motivating and have the capacity to negotiate and resolve conflict.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated commitment to the purpose and values in a purpose-led organisation.
