About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care on a casual basis working various shifts across a 7 day roster.
This position is in the Cardiac ward.
About us Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.
Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare Your duties will include · Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN · Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs · Act as a role model for Safe Practice · Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy · Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development Essential Criteria: · A minimum of 12 months experience as a Enrolled Nurse in a hospital setting · Current Registration with AHPRA · Commitment to Quality Patient Care · Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills · Excellent communication and customer service skills · Works well independently and within a team · Demonstrated time management & organisational skills to meet timelines · Competence in medication administration Why Healthscope?
