Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised Probate Clerk to join our team and support our growing practice. In this role, you will predominantly be responsible for managing estate administrations. With access to support as required from solicitors and other experienced colleagues, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously, seeing estate administrations right through from a grant of representation to final distributions. There are also many opportunities to work collaboratively within a broader Wills & Estates team.
There is also an opportunity for applicants to be involved in the process of preparing and assisting with the administration associated with Wills, Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Medical Decision Maker.

Key Responsibilities Liaising regularly with estate legal representatives, including obtaining instructions and providing regular updates.Preparing documentation required for a grant of representation.Liaising with various parties and preparing various documentation in the course of administering the estate, including banks, accountants and debtors.Preparing administration accounts.Communicating with beneficiaries as to estate distributions.Maintaining accurate records and databases.Skills Required Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team.Proficient in Microsoft Office and preferably, Leap legal software.Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Experience is preferred but not essential for the right applicant.What We Offer Five weeks of annual leave.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Flexibility working arrangements for the right applicant.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.A supportive and collaborative work environment.An opportunity to work across multiple sites if desired.How to Apply
