Lead strategy for ABC International ServicesOngoing full-time positionLocation: FlexibleThe Role As Digital Content Manager for ABC's International Services, you will lead the development and execution of digital and social strategies to grow audiences across the Indo-Pacific region. This role combines strategic planning, implementation, and analysis to drive the ABC's international digital engagement.
Reporting to the Manager of International Services, the role will include:
Developing and implementing digital and social media strategies to engage international audiences with a focus on the Indo-Pacific region.Providing leadership, supervision, and support to a team of digital and social media producers.Commissioning and managing compelling digital and video content for key markets.Collaborating with ABC platform teams to optimize content distribution and audience engagement.Using data to monitor and refine digital and social media performance.Providing expertise, training, and guidance on social media trends and best practices.About You You will bring significant social and digital expertise in analysis, strategy design, content creation, and production. Your experience and skills will include:
Extensive editorial experience, with a proven ability to uphold and maintain high editorial standards across diverse content.Proven expertise of digital and social media industry trends and behaviours and preferences among ABC International audiences in the Indo-Pacific region.Demonstrated success managing social and digital platforms at a corporate level, including strategy execution and audience engagement.Exceptional strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to deliver results while fostering creativity and innovation.Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to lead, develop, and support teams while building momentum and garnering support through influence.Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, combined with a willingness to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.What we can offer you: 15.4% ABC Nominated super.Paid parental, carer's and supporting partner leave.Salary packaging.ABC Mentoring.More Info: In line with our focus on diversity and inclusion, applications are strongly encouraged from Indigenous Australians, people from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people with disability and LGBTIQA+ individuals.
