Company description: Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other.
Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.
SRL is more than a rail project.

Job description: About the opportunity The Package Director, Stations is responsible for the overall management of the formation and delivery of two multi-billion-dollar Works Package Alliance Contracts each comprising of three stations associated with the SRL East rail infrastructure.
This role reports to the Executive General Manager, Rail Infrastructure Delivery and provides the required project management, technical, commercial, and contractual input to the successful delivery of the scope of works being managed.
Each work package contract will have a Deputy Package Director, Stations, who will report to this position.
This is a senior executive role, with remuneration commensurate with experience.
You will be a highly accomplished senior leader as this role will require you to manage 90+ employees over multiple work packages.
We are looking for experience and proven achievement in managing the tendering and award of contracts, through to major contract management and review to ensure contractor's successful delivery of the design, construction, commissioning, and handover of the six underground railway stations.
You will have a track record of achievement in similar project delivery roles for modern automated railway infrastructure, including underground structures, deep civils foundations and the mechanical, electrical and communication systems typically in the stations 'back of house' and station surface, concourse, and platform levels.
The role requires a sound knowledge of the provision of these facilities and services in the Australian (preferably Victorian) rail industry including design, construction and commissioning and the various forms of contracting models with evidence of knowledge in like international projects.
Experience with Alliance contracts formation and delivery will be required, and/or previous experience in a similar role within the Victorian Public Sector.
