About the Role
Join Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation as a Community Projects Supervisor, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing community engagement and skill development.
In this dynamic position, you will establish daily routines for participants, guide their learning, and collaborate with Project Coordinators to create meaningful activities that promote long-term employment pathways.
Your effective communication skills will be essential in informing participants about job opportunities while building strong relationships with community stakeholders.
A commitment to cultural awareness and inclusivity is crucial as you motivate and supervise participants across various skill areas.
What you will do
As the Community Projects Supervisor at Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation, you will empower Belyuen community members and drive program engagement.
You'll design and implement skill-building activities that cater to participants' needs, ensuring they have the resources to succeed.
Your strong organisational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate attendance records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
You will document community engagement efforts and collaborate with local stakeholders to identify job opportunities, helping participants connect with pathways to employment.
With a focus on cultural sensitivity and inclusivity, you'll support participants in developing essential skills in areas such as digital literacy, hospitality, and general labouring.

We are looking for suitable applicants who have:
Ability to supervise and develop meaningful activities while adhering to the Community Development Program (CDP) guidelines Practical experience in areas such as hospitality, arts and crafts, trade and/or building industry, operation of heavy vehicles and machinery, plant and equipment.
Ability to effectively engage with program participants, community stakeholders and employers Demonstrated strengths in administrative and communication skills Proven ability to work well in a small team and demonstrated capacity to self-manage own workload and deadlines Ability to travel within the Ironbark Group's service region In return for your skills and valued contribution you will be rewarded with:
