Job Description
Manage and maintain Australian payroll emails, handle payroll inquiries, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Assist outsourcer with pay run preparations and provide employee movements on a timely basis.
Prepare payroll-related calculations such as new hire payments, termination pays, FTE changes, etc.
Accurately process (via outsource) payroll for 1,000 employees on a monthly basis.
Prepare pay run variance checks and related reports.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Maintain and update employee payroll records.
Assist the senior payroll officer with payroll reporting and other payroll-related tasks and projects when required.
Conduct leave audits and other ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications
Payroll function experience in a corporate organization.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Experience maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail in previous roles.
Approachable and friendly manner with a customer-oriented focus.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Experience managing a team.
Knowledge of Preceda is an advantage but not essential.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
