Stabilised Pavements Group is focused on delivering pavement construction, rehabilitation and maintenance solutions that are cost effective, sound in design to deliver longevity and environmental sustainability.
These solutions are based on extensive engineering expertise, technology and systems that ensure the highest standards of quality, occupational health, safety and environmental management.
Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart.
We have been operating for almost 40 years and employ over 250 people.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, The Project Engineer role is specifically tailored for a dedicated and motivated individual, with previous experience in road and earthwork projects.
This role requires experience in dealing directly with the client, managing the development and implementation of systems, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Tertiary qualified degree in Civil Engineering;A background within the Civil Construction industry with a suitable understanding of construction projects, work activities, resources with sound plant capability and productivity knowledge;Minimum of 3 years' experienceDemonstrate experience to lead a team with the ability to build a culture of accountability and performance;Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with relevant codes and standards;Good understanding of cost control, cost forecast and time deliverables;Desired Attributes: Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and maintain relationships with our clients and stakeholders;Demonstrated ability to develop effective and productive working relationships managing our subcontractors and suppliers;A commitment to Commercial acumen & contractual awareness with strong knowledge of WHS and Compliance;Strong leadership and management skills;Great attitude and ambition to progress into a senior position within the business;Prepared to work flexible hours and to be available to travel throughout Australia for periods away to meet client/project needs.An attractive salary package is on offer based on experience.
