Electrical Metering Supervisor

As the Electrical Metering Supervisor, you will supervise our team of smart metering technicians on our newly awarded meter exchange project with Intellihub.This hands-on role will provide leadership and support to our technicians in the field and involve training, auditing, and escalations to achieve zero harm, safe systems of work, quality, and performance objectives.The role will be based predominately in Sydney Metro and surrounding areas including regional NSW, with a company vehicle provided.ABOUT YOURelevant Electrical experience working in a similar role within Metering / UtilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills coupled with well-developed interpersonal and leadership capabilityDemonstrated experience supervising work crews and leading by exampleCurrent Electrical License and relevant Metering qualificationsAbility to travel to support and audit technicians in all working areas (includes overnight stays in regional towns)Working collaboratively to ensure compliance to policies, procedures, and work ordersEnsure that the environment is safe, and zero harm initiatives are implemented and followed by work crewsHighly skilled with technology and programsWHAT WE OFFERAttractive full-time annual salary package with a company vehicleMonday to Friday 38-hour week (some flexibility)A workplace that focuses on zero harmHighly competitive remuneration package and employee benefitsOpportunity for career progression with an industry leaderAccess to Downer employee benefitsTraining and development to support your career.Internal career opportunities across the Downer Group businessSkilltech, a division of the Downer Group, is one of Australia's largest providers of metering services.
