Senior Associate - Insurance Litigation (5+ PAE) Make your mark leading a highly engaged team working on challenging matters for a high-profile insurer.
We're looking for an enthusiastic Senior Associate to lead our insurance litigation team in Brisbane.
This is a great opportunity to thrive on high impact work for one of Australia's largest insurers at a national firm with a strong history of career progression.
Working in the Brisbane CBD in our stylish, contemporary offices, you will bring a positive and proactive approach to exceptional client service.
Your new role
Advise clients on legal and technical issues, evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for cases Build and promote strong client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs Draft pleadings and other Court documents Advocate in Court including at Trials and settlement conferences Regularly attend seminars and events contributing to your professional development Lead the team and coordinate support to achieve the client and firm's financial outcomes Your skills and experience
5+ years' experience in insurance law essential Depth of knowledge and expertise in insurance claims, particularly related to motor vehicles High quality, human-centred and proactive client service Management experience with a track record of leading a team with strong results Proficiency in MS365 and adaptability to new systems and technology Experience using ActionStep highly advantageous Exceptional time management and timekeeping Some of our employee benefits include:
