Contribute to an exciting NHMRC funded research project, working with Emeritus Professor Anthony Jorm Develop your research skills and assist on systematic reviews and meta-analysis activities About the Role
This is a research assistant position to work with Emeritus Professor Anthony Jorm on research funded by his NHMRC Investigator Grant.
The work includes projects to optimise how scientists and science-informed professionals come to a consensus and to investigate how nations can improve their population's mental health.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with a systematic review and meta-analysis of studies on group decision making Assisting in running a Delphi study on how scientists and science-informed professionals can work together to come to an optimal consensus Assisting with writing articles and ethics applications Who We Are Looking For
Our ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in statistical data analysis and proficiency in tools like SPSS and Stata.
They should have strong written and verbal communication skills which will enable them to present complex information clearly and effectively.

The ideal candidate will be adept at working both independently and collaboratively, contributing to team success while ensuring project goals are met within agreed deadlines.
Your combination of technical expertise and teamwork ensures high-quality outcomes in research and analysis projects.

You will also have:
An Honours or higher degree in a relevant discipline (e.g.
quantitative health, psychological or social science) An ability to work as a part of a high performing team Experience with systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and the Delphi expert consensus method (desirable) This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check.
This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
